Preserving memories & stories in audio is new to you, and we're sure you have a lot of questions - we hope to address them here.

What is MemoryBank?

MemoryBank is a division of ProDio Audio Learning Inc. that records and produces your cherished memories and life stories in audio format, using our proven StoryStyle Production Process.

Once you book your MemoryBank - The Discovery Session
We’ll set up a Zoom call or phone chat to kick off your Discovery session. This is the perfect time to ask any questions, talk about the Themes that resonate with you, and share the stories you want to tell along with your overall vision. Once you're ready, we'll book the MemoryBank Session and take care of the deposit (50%).

You will receive a free StoryFinder Journal with questions and prompts to help you capture your stories and memories, based on the Theme(s) you've chosen. We’ll ask you to send us some of your favorite photos that capture your life and stories so we can use them in the design of your LP cover.

The MemoryBank Session
Our conversation is conducted over Riverside FM, which is like Zoom but with much higher-quality audio recording capabilities. We may ask that you install the RiversideFM app on your phone, or use your computer if you have a good microphone on your computer. You'll access the software with a link we'll send you prior to

the session. Once you click the link and give the software the permissions it asks for, you'll click to join the session. (you may need someone to help you get set up for this). Our Expert Listener will guide you through the session, based on the Theme, listening for possible areas or stories & memories to explore. Depending on your package, the session could last up to 2 hours, which can always be separated into 2 sessions if needed. We're flexible & these conversations are quite fun!

After the interview
From here, our sound editing and production team will work their magic to bring your memories to life! Our graphic design team will also start creating your LP cover using the photos you provided. Once the recording is ready, we’ll send you an electronic version to review. You’ll also get a preview of the LP jacket design to approve. This may take up to 6 weeks, depending on how extensive the recording is. Once everything’s signed off, we’ll finalize the details and collect the final payment. Then, your LP will be pressed, and your MemoryBank Keepsake will be on its way to you. In a separate package, you'll receive a wooden, branded memory stick with your produced recording.

How will I know what stories to tell?

Before the recording, we will provide you with a complimentary Story Journal which is customized for each Theme, to guide you in selecting stories relevant to your chosen Theme/s and help you remember the important details of your stories.

What kind of stories can I record?

The stories we guide you through are determined largely by the Theme/s that you have selected. Please take a look at our available themes here. We're happy to record memories that may not coincide with our Themes. This is YOUR Keepsake so we are flexible!

How is the audio edited and produced?

After the recording session/s, our team of sound designers will compile the audio, transcribe it, remove any unnecessary parts, and enhance the overall quality with music and sound effects where appropriate, with the final product telling an audio story that flows. Listen to previous MemoryBank Keepsakes we've produced here. This will give you an idea of how your stories and memories will be enhanced.

How long does the production and pressing process take?

The production time can vary depending on the length and complexity of the recordings. You should receive your produced recording for approval within 3-4 weeks. Once the recording and LP design is approved, if you have ordered less than 6 LPs, the pressing will take up to 3 weeks (not including shipping times). More than 6 LPs require 4-5 weeks once the LP is all set to press/print. There is an opportunity to pay for a rush pressing. We are happy to keep you in the loop at each stage of how your Audio Keepsake is coming along!

Can I make changes to the final audio recording?

Yes, you can request revisions if there are specific changes you would like to make to the final product that is sent for approval. We aim to ensure that you are completely satisfied before we order the pressing of the LP. Once the LP record has been pressed, no further changes can be made without incurring additional expenses.

Is my information and the recording confidential?

Yes, all recordings are kept confidential. We take privacy seriously and ensure that your stories and memories are handled with the utmost care and respect. MemoryBank will not share any of your information, recordings or images unless we have your permission in writing.

How much does a MemoryBank Audio Keepsake cost?

The cost can vary based on the length of audio that can be pressed onto an LP and number of sessions, as well as any additional services requested. Please take a look at our price packages here. We have taken care to design the packages to reflect choices that would be most common. Extras are available, see the bottom of the Packages page.

What languages do you work in?

Great question! Currently, we are producing audio in English only, however, we expect to be able to make additional languages available in the future.
